The concept behind this shoe is "Real Japan," and it features finely-detailed, subtle handmade touches. There is a careful production process for each and every upper used. The process starts from carefully applying indigo dye to each piece of leather by skilled dyers. The excellence of Japanese craftsmanship is reflected in each shoe, as great care is taken in the shoemaking process. The leather cutting, sewing, shoe assembly and the finishing touches are all carried out in Japan.
The GEL-Lyte® III model is crafted with a clean vamp to the majority of the shoe’s upper while utilizing traditional split tongue construction. The outsole is a molded color AHAR® sponge sole with a TPU heel protector and rear foot GEL® technology.
